Godfather Gift

What does he like?
Maybe a book about Chicago, or something Chicago-ish.
Is he English or American? What about a US flag lapel pin. Maybe they have one with the US and the Illinois flag crossed. My hubby has a Marine/US flag pin and wears it on every suit.
An Illinois or Chicago tie.
Be sure to take pictures of him and the baby and get a nice frame to send it to him once he gets back to London.

Next year, a calendar with pics of the baby as he grows.

This may sound 'boring' but I'd think he would want a nice photo of your son, framed all nice.

Camera so your husband can skype with him?

I'd say that dinner and the Hawks game is great as he probably will enjoy the time together more than anything. While he's here be sure to get some photos of him and the baby especially at the church. Then after he's gone you can find the best photo, frame it and send it to him in London. If you get a good number of pictures of you all you could expand it to a small photo album or add that to the framed photo.

Take a picture of him and his new Godson and then put it in a nice frame. If you can find one that has space for 3-4 more pictures you can let him know that as your son grows you will send pictures for him to put in his frame. Men don't normally do stuff like that and really appreciate thing like that when they get them.
