Manicure gift certificate? She can get her fingers all done up before the wedding!
HI Mom
I have a neighbor who is a bit older than me but is always doing nice things for us.
Her son is about to be married in a few weeks and it will be her first time being mother of the groom. She is very excited and I wanted to get her a little something to celebrate the occasion. He is getting married out of town and I wanted to give her something before she leaves for the big event. Any ideas????

I was going to suggest a nail salon gift certificate too. A couple more ideas; a pair of earrings or a bracelet that she could wear with her dress for the wedding, a frame for her to put a photo of the couple in afterwards or a small memory box for her to put momentos of the big day in (matchbocks, napkins, etc. ) hth!!
Yes, I like all of the suggestions you've received. And if she is one to wear hair jewelry...maybe an ornate hair pin??A nice shawl to wear for the evenings..(it is getting cold). You are so very thoughtful.
I am a Scentsy consultant and I believe that scents are always a great gift. We sell a variety of warmers and wickless candles that she could enjoy. Our prices are very reasonable and our scents stronger and more delicious than most other candles out there. www.scentsy.com/sarahc
Other great gifts are:
manicures and pedicures
Bath and Bodyworks always has great small gift packages
Mary Kay has a great Satin Hands package right now for only $11.00 - I love the wasy my skin feels after a scrub with their lotion.
How about a fun pair of Christmas socks? Those are inexpensive, but fun.
why don't you get her a little travel bag with travel sized soaps?
