I'm looking for recommendations on books for my mom for Mother's Day. I'm looking for inspirational-type books, though not necessarily religious. Any suggestions good, uplifting books are appreciated!

Also, if you're looking for something for your Mom, I would highly recommend "To Bless The Space Between Us" by John O'Donohue. He is amazing, and this book is amazing. (I already got this book for my mom for Christmas! :). If I had the $, I would buy a copy of this book for every one of my friends and family.....

What can I do next?

I am a big fan of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" books. There are so many versions out there ... for moms, for grandparents, for friends, you name it.

I think all the Nicolas Sparks books are great. Barnes and Noble also has a new device that allows books to be downloaded and read. It's pretty cool for people who read a lot.

The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch for certain! I do love Chicken Soup for the Soul, but I cry through all 12 of the ones I read. With Randy's book, I laughed through most of it - knowing full well that he dies at the end....but it changed my life and I never wait to do anything anymore.
