What can I get my husband's aunt that is everything to him and does so much for our family?
She's recently retired, loves to read, was a school teacher, loves to take pictures etc?

if not you could get her that and on another occasion (bday or xmas) gift cards for those stores to download books.

Keep in mind if she was a teacher she will not need bath or beauty products and school themed anything.

I would suggest making her something special. Maybe a memory book with him and his Aunt over the years. Or if you crochet or knit a afghan. You could make a speical dinner and have his Aunt over. Get her a special made book marker, page holder, book lamp, etc...Is her camera up to date? Maybe a new camera or a digital photo frame.
Framed family pictures or a photo-shoot at her birthday gathering.
