I use member's mark and they have been they best for us. I get a case for under $30. I love sam's club for so many reasons.
I was just wondering if anyone uses any generic diapers, like the Walmart or Target brands, and how well they work. I have been using Huggies pretty consistently since my daughter was born 5 months ago. There is nothing wrong with them, I was just wondering if maybe generic diapers work just as well. Anywhere that I can cut costs right now would really help!! I welcome any positive or negative comments about them. Thanks!!
Thanks to everyone for your advice. We have a membership to Sam's Club, so I think I will try those next time!!

I use the Sam's Club brand and never had an issue. They are so cheap too and we go through so many it is nice to buy them in bulk. My daughter is one so we have been using them for a year.
The Walmart brand diapers( White Clouds) are great. I used them on my daughter after trying alot of different cheaper brands. I also used them on my son. Another brand that I loved was Eckerd generic brand. If you also sign up for their baby club card you get an additional 10 or 20% off. Whenever we needed diapers and couldnt get out to Walmart we would use thiers. We have used both from newborn until potty training. My son is still potty training but we have to use Huggies Pullups becuase the walmart brand doesnt make them big enough for him.
One generic I would stay away from is Giant Eagle's brand. Both of my children peed right through them and they fell apart.
We've used just about every brand out there. Most of the generics are great. There can be a slight difference in how they fit so if your child is close to the next size up, you might want to buy the next size up. For our son, we have bought the different off brands at Walmart, Target, and Giant Eagle as well as the Members Mark brand at Sam's club. All have worked well for us. The Members Mark seem to have the best fit when you are at the point where you could go with two different sizes. (We are trying to potty train. My son is about 32 pounds and could go with either a size 4 or a size 5. Some of the size 4s can be a little snug -- like the Luvs -- even though they say to 37 pounds. My son is not a heavy kid at all, either.) Also, the generics usually don't have a pretty scent like the Luvs or Pampers. But for the money, they are usually a great buy.
My daughter (almost three) has been raised on Target brand diapers. (Potty trained now). Nothing at all wrong with them & a substantial savings!
I've tried a ton of diapers with my son. Never buy valu-time diapers. They seriously are fastened by 2 pieces of tape. The target brand are great during the day but tend to leak if you try to use them for overnight. The wal-mart brand ( people's choice) are AWFUL. Never use them. Oddly enough, however, sam's club sells a different brand of generics (member's mark) and they work really well. They're about 28.00 for a box of 200 and are by far my favorite. If you don't shop at sam's club, Id recommend this trick: buy a big box of target and small box of huggies. Use the target all day and just put on a huggies right before bed. This trick works really well and will save you some bucks on diapers. The target really do work very well at holding in messes and they seem pretty comfy, but unless you change your daughter every 4-5 hrs at night, don't have her sleep in them. That seems to be about when they reach maximum urine capacity. Hope this helped!
I have three boys who were all raised on Target's brand. The savings is unreal, about 50%. Give them a try, I think they are worth it... Good Luck, M.
When my daughter was a baby I hated Huggies. They were the only diapers that would give her a horrible rash, and the tabs would always rip off. What I ended up doing was, I used generic diapers when she was little because you end up changed them so often that it doesnt really matter anyway. And then when she got a little bit older I used Luvs. They were cheaper than pampers or Huggies and worked way better than the generic. And then when she got older and almost ready to potty train I used generic in the day and Luvs at night. I am expected my 2nd child next month and I plan on using generic diapers in the beginning.
