OK mamas... I need your help finding some free summer concerts. Most towns have their own little concerts and I'd love to hear about all of them, so please leave a quick note to let me know about any that you're aware of. Thanks!
Kids 15 and under get FREE lawn seats to Chicago Symphony Orchestra concerts at Ravinia. Most concerts are outdoors and you can bring in your own food & drink. You can see Lord of the Rings with the symphony playing the score live to the movie in August. Enjoy the summer! www.ravinia.org
I know Mundelein and Vernon Hills have concerts, the former almost every Sunday (?) through the summer at Kraklauer Park/Santa Maria del Popolo grounds and VH has theirs in their Arbortheater, south of 60. You can go to mundelein.org and vernonhills.org for more info.
