I am looking for a good Pediatrician in the South Boca, Deerfield area. Any help with good or bad experiences would be great. I have a newborn daughter who is getting ready to leave the NICU at West Boca in the next week or so. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks
L. M

Love, Love, love my practice called Pediatric Associates. 441 just north of Glades Rd. I use David Marcus, the most loving wonderful man. Have for 12 years now. Love him, would marry him!! Great with the kids. Actually, all in the practice are good. He's just my personal favorite!!!

L.,

Congrats on the baby! I really LOVE Advanced Pediatrics of Boca. They are a smaller practice, and they really take the time with you. There are three doctors and all of them are really good. My daughter is real skiddish around most doctors, but she is really comfortable with all of them! We mainly us Dr. Stone. She is really good. They are located by West Boca Hospital. They are in the buliding next to 441 on the 2nd floor. The number is ###-###-####. Good luck!!!

Dr. Reiss at Pediatric Associates, Boca Raton. Excellent doctor. Takes time and listens which is half the battle. Very personable and terrific with children. Highly recommended by others as well.

Get your baby on tummy as much as possible. Preemies need more time then typical children to develop. Four times a day for 30 minutes each time will take care of tht need. When you are awake and watching your child have him/her sleep on tummy. They need to be in flexion, not extension for normal growth patterns and reflex integration. Preemies have sensory sensitivity so maybe get an OT on board right away to prevent problems down the road such as processing, speech and sensory integration dysfunction. Your child needs more movement then others as well. Rocking, swinging, moving head through space and upside down. Carry your baby so they get alot of movement too.
