I loved the Newlywed game and Name that Tune.
I don't even know if people remember Name that Tune. CRAZY HARD!
My girls and I like to occasionally watch classic game shows on Youtube during lunch. It's a fun diversion. :)
We've gone through episodes of Supermarket Sweep, Shop 'Til You Drop, American Gladiators, Classic Concentration, Super Sloppy Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple...
...so, what old game shows do you love? I'm fishing for new ideas!! (Also, I just rediscovered Win, Lose, or Draw! today, with super hunky Burt Reynolds!!! tee hee)
Thanks, mamas, that was fun to share. :)
We do go way back, too...well, I do, anyhow...I LOVE really old game shows, but I can't get my daughter (who's only 7) interested in a few of them because she's a bit young...like Match Game, for instance, I think would be TOTALLY inappropriate but I can't WAIT to check it out for myself in the evening because I forgot how funny it could be!! I love watching old Bob Barker, too, but I just realized what a jerk he used to be!!! I mean, I watched that man my WHOLE LIFE, and loved him...now I look back at these old episodes and he could really be rude (in a funny way, I guess?)!! Oh well, still love 'im!!
I loved the Newlywed game and Name that Tune.

I used to love Wheel of Fortune when the contestants took their "winnings" and purchased things on the show. Does anyone else remember that? They had the different rooms set up on a spinning platform and everything was priced.
I go further back than those. Password. $10,000 Pyramid. Newlywed Game. Family Feud. Let's Make A Deal. Hollywood Squares. Loved Matched Game! Old Price is right back in the 70s.

Oh my YES - American Gladiators. I still watch old reruns when I find them on TV!!
I also love 10,000 pyramid, card shark and what is the one with the noid? and they'd say "no whamies, no whamies" I like to watch that one too.
I like the game shows where as little skill and knowledge is needed. LOL>
The Love Connection with Chuck Woolery, Hollywood squares and name that tune and press your luck :)
Win ,Lose or Draw
The one where people would say, "No whammies...no whammies...c'mon no whammies!" I can't for the life of me remember the name of the show.
Love Connection
The Newlywed Show. We watched it as a family. I had no idea what whoopee was...and they said it all the time.
Family Feud...dang I can hear the theme music in my head right now.
Price Is Right
Match Game! It's a freakin' riot....& can be completely off-color. I love watching this game show, & end up laughing at some point on every episode. :)
+ seeing Betty White is always a pleasure. She was a beautiful woman at each decade. Check out her sapphire ring....to die for!
Truth or Consequences! I loved that show when I was a child. Also, the old To Tell the Truth.
I used to watch the Game Show Network with my grandparents when I was a kid. Now that channel shows mostly the newer game shows and reality shows. We enjoyed the older episodes of Family Feud, Card Sharks, Wheel of Fortune, and The Price is Right. Wheel of Fortune is the only game show I still watch once in a while. I've noticed it's gone a bit downhill in the past few years. I even auditioned for the show but didn't make it.
Wheel of Fortune
The Price is Right
$10,000 Pyramid
Jokers Wild
I wouldn't consider Supermarket Sweep old, but I loved that one.
I really liked Sale of the Century, although I can't remember how it was played now. I'm sure it had trivia questions...those sorts of games were my favorites. I also loved Card Sharks and the reruns of Match Game.
And the game with "no whammys" was Press Your Luck. I was home sick from school and saw the episode in which the contestant had figured out the "pattern" of the lights and couldn't lose -- he won the most amount of money ever. Ah, memories!
Card Sharks, Match Game, Tattletales, Joker's Wild, Password, Newlywed Game. I love Game Show Network! I can watch all of the old ones. I'm only 29, so I never watched any of them when they were on the air, but I love the reruns.
Worldof4, that was my favorite, i loved the how they had to buy really cheesy stuff.
i also liked family fued
Card Sharks! That is a laugh a minute... or a mock a minute... hee hee
Password was always fun, too.
20,000 Pyramid
I am not a fan of gameshows that became more about the conversation/entertaining than about the game.
ETA: Oh.. and we love Chuck Woolery and Lingo.
Card Sharks, Lingo, and Hollywood Squares
