Hey girls,
My son is about to turn 2ys old next month and is IN LOVE with anything farm related. He loves barns, tractors, animals, etc. I am looking for a farm-type environment to take him to for his birthday and would love any suggestions from you girls! I guess a petting zoo would work but it would be great to go somewhere with a barn that has animals and fields that does tours or something. Maybe it doesn't exist but I would be open to something like that. :0)

We live in South Arlington but would be willing to travel a ways to make his day.

I've been to Country Critters and it's pretty neat. They have the pony rides (hooked up to a walker), they have the hay ride, and they could pet a bunch of the animals. And it's just south of Mansfield so it's not too far from you.

There is a place in Irving called Fritz Petting Farm but it is only open June and July, but you can pet the animals and it is free. This is the link http://www.ci.irving.tx.us/parks-and-recreation/fritz.asp- my kids loved it.
