Have you looked at a coin shop? Or the US treasury site or the US Mint?
I think I would buy them and keep them back and include them one at a time for special presents!
What fun!
Ds is missing 5 state quarters. We've hit up friends and family but haven't found them. Is there an easy way to find the specific ones he needs?? Ebay?? Or the bank??? I don't want to get too crazy w it but I think its a neat collection for a 9 yo
He does love the treasure hunt aspect. I just didn't want to be a pest. If I were to ask at the bank, would I need to buy a roll of quarters and jsut hope the were in there? Or is there someway to ask for the specific ones? I might check ebay and also ask reltives out of state. Tx

go to a flea market and find a coin dealer!
I would say just keep looking through your change. I think that will keep the challenge alive :) Otherwise when you are done-you are done.
My son has a big coin collection, not only state quarters but mercury dimes, v-nickels and some other stuff. He gets a lot of things off amazon (private sellers). I'm pretty sure he bought a complete set of state quarters that came in a folder with each state having it's own slot.
I love his hobby -- it makes buying gifts for him so easy!
I just kept searching through all my change until I found them all. Ask your friends and family to keep looking. Some of them will forget, so ask a number of people - *regularly*: "We need a Hawaii quarter (2008), a California quarter (2005), and a Maine quarter (2003). Would you take a moment to look through your change to see if you have them? Thanks."
I guess you can order whole sets now, but the "treasure hunt" may be much more fun for a kid than just being handed the whole thing.
umm well just buy some online........easy.
