You ladies were so helpful with my last request for creative auction items. How about some ideas for what to get my husband for Valentines Day, but preferably something "green" that won't end up dusty on a shelf or crumpled in a drawer or die at the end of the week!
Thanks, ladies, for the awesome ideas that I hope to use throughout the year. I ended up buying a cool shirt from a shop in Oak Park called Chameleon, near Oak Park and Lake. The owner was super helpful and I will definitely go back. (And they have really cute girl gifts, too!) I also got a funky photo frame from FlyBird, another O.P. shop. But, I am definitely going to try to homemade pizza and giant cookie ideas in the future! THanks again!

Do not know if this is too much for valentines day, but for another occasion... my friend found a racing track and got her husband a day pass with racecar driving lessons, etc. It sounded so cool. I think there is one on route 71 between Oswego and ottowa somewhere. The one she went to was closer to the city. I forgot where. Valentines... maybe not, but a cool birthday present.
I just saw a pizza place that has heart shaped pizza for v-day. You could orer a pizza, rent a movie and go from there! good luck.
My husband absolutely loved the huge heart shaped cookie that I made him for Valentine's day one year. He loves chocolate chip cookies, so I made a batch (or you could make it with a store-bought tube of cookie dough) and shaped it into a heart on a pizza pan and cooked it until it was done. After it had cooled, I decorated it with frosting. It was his favorite thing that I have done/gotten for him for Valentine's Day.

Hmmmm I'd say a homemade romantic dinner, a massage, and some hot sex.
How about a gym membership?
What about a mixed cd? I was thinking of going on itunes and making a cd of mixed love songs for my husband that at least we could play over valentines day dinner, even if he never listens to it again! But you could do like, eighties ballads or rock songs or whatever he likes...
The only thing my husband would want for Valentine's Day would be me! And I would hope that I don't end up as any of those three things!
I got my husband a poker night knack pack once that he loved. You can get them on toydirectory.com or Amazon, just search poker night knackpack. I think there is one for the new home owner, too. That and a home made dinner without kids would be special!
