Young and old will enjoy EnterTRAINment. We saw people of all ages there. We took our 2 yr old little boy before Christmas and we all enjoyed it so much that we plan to take the granparents with us the next time. Hope you have a great time.
I just saw a television ad for EnterTRAINment Junction and then visited their website. It looks pretty neat. Has anyone been there? What are your thoughts? Is it something appropriate for 2 1/2 year olds?

I had never heard of it, so after reading your post I looked it up and we are SO going! My son will go completely bonkers and he will want to move in. THANK YOU for your post!
We took our daughter there right before Christmas (when she was 2 1/2) and she seemed to like it. She LOVES trains, but it was kind of hard for her to see some of the models because of her height, so my husband or I had to pick her up a lot. They have a lot of informational exhibits that my husband liked, but they are not geared towards toddlers/preschooler. They have a play area that she enjoyed, but she was more interested in the play area for older kids. The food court doesn't have a good selection (pretty much hot dogs and bland pizza), so if you're going to be there around lunch time it might be better to bring your own food. Overall, it was a decent outing, but I thought it was a bit expensive for what it is.
This is their website address: entertrainmentjunction.com
I have not been there but was thinking aboout taking my 3 year old, who loves trains. I got on their site, and they have a children't interactive play area. Hope this helps.
OMG!! WILL THEY EVER!!! I took my son there for his 3rd birthday and that was the end of September and to this day he talks about it at LEAST once a week. There are activities for the kids prior to going in to where the trains are set up. There is plexy glass around the trains so they can't disturb them but can watch and they even have steps so the little ones can see. They also have buttons along the way they can push to activate the trains or noises. About 1/2 way through there is a HUGE play area for them that is a blast for both parents and kids. Then off to the rest of the trains and near the end is an area you can go upstairs and have an over view of the entire lay out of the trains. Its an awesome place to go!! We can't wait to go back!
GO and HAVE FUN!

We also are wanting to go. I have heard great reviews from people who have gone. They have said if your kids like trains they will LOVE it! We are excited to check it out also!
