B.B.
My mom uses those balls (or something similar to that) and she likes them. She bought them for me...I hated them. Honestly, I can't even remember how well they worked because I couldn't get over how LOUD they were in the dryer!
Hi Moms,
I saw a display for Smartklean Laundry Balls at Whole Foods yesterday. Just wondering if you think it really works. My son has super sensitive skin, so I would like to try it for his clothes, but don't want to waste the money if it doesn't.
Thanks!

I haven't tried that brand, but I loved the target brands I have. They are loud but if you got ones like Buddah Bunz that are made our of wool they aren't as loud. I would suggest those. Plus I think they are like $7 or something small like that so they are worth the try.
I think there is some confusion on here. The Smartklean Laundry balls are for washing clothes. They have some ceramic something that makes them work. I have not used them yet, but actually have them on my list to purchase on my next trip to Whole Foods. I saw them this weekend also but wanted to read some reviews before trying it. They sound good to me! I will likely have to purchase 2 though, as we are a large family and our loads of laundry are large. If you want the smell of "laundry" you can essential oils to them and give your clothes are more traditional smell.
I use laundry balls. They are a great chemical-free alternative to fabric softeners or dryer sheets. The clothes come out free from static and just as soft as if you'd used a dryer sheet. The clothes also dry quicker because the balls keep the clothes separated.
My only complaint is that they can be hard to find once your laundry is done drying!
I haven't tried those but wanted to give a shout out for All detergent. You may have tried it already, but my son had/has very sensitive skin too and that's all I use. I decided to try it when I had to make some cuts in the budget, and cut out my some of my expensive laundry and dish products. I still think it works at cleaning pretty well, it's very reasonably priced and it doesn't irritate his skin. My son's skin isn't as sensivite as it was when he was a baby, but he still breaks out.
