I am moving soon and I have a lot of stuff (baby clothes/toys, etc) that I want to donate to a non-profit group. Does anyone know of any organizations in the Manchester or Salem/Derry area that are good to donate to besides the Salvation Army/Goodwill? Thanks!

What can I do next?

My mom's group donated a basket of mom/baby stuff to Marguerite's Place in Nashua. It is a transition for single moms and babies with nowhere to go.

Good luck,

L.

Hi C.,
A great organization that I donated our baby stuff to is Care Net Pregnancy Center. I believe there is one in Manchester.
Good luck,

Hi C..... Yes! Families in Transition is a great place to donate. It is for families "in transition", getting back on their feet for whatever reason.

In order to benefit from the program, they have to work for the organization. It's a beautiful thing.

They are on Second Street, just north of the Queen City Bridge, just north of the Honda (Big Toy... mowers, etc.) dealership.

Look straight ahead and up and you will see "Family Outfitters" on the building. Go around the building and 1/2 way down is a loading dock.

They take most everything except toys. The toys you can donate to any shelter or soup kitchen - they love them!

And don't forget to get a receipt!

Thanks for thinking of others...
