Visit www.momsclub.org to find a MOMS Club for your area. It's a nice way to meet people who live close by and they offer age-based playgroups, moms nights out, all member park days, holiday parties, etc.

Also, I run a local website called CityMommy OC. It's totally free and we have various get togethers, a message board, directory, event listings, and more. Check it out at http://oc.citymommy.com We're getting together this Friday if you are free!

MOMS Club...I've been a member of the one in El Segundo for a couple years and it's a great support system and opportunity to meet other moms and kids for your girls. Clubs organized by zip code, I think...www.momsclub.org. Good luck and have fun!

Go to meetup.com and type in your search. There are literally hundreds of mommy and me playgroups you can join. I personally organize one called 562 moms, if you're interested, however, our group's activities are primarily in the 562 area code, however, we do venture out to other places and venues.

I definitely second the suggestions for MOMS club or even MOPS. (the upside of MOPS is that they provide childcare during the 2 hours of their formal meetings, so you get a little break to socialize with grown ups). The one in Fullerton meets at a church but you DON"T have to be a member of that church (or even go to church at all) in order to join. Every mom of preschoolers is welcome.

E or W fullerton? There is a MOPS group at Eastside church, near CSUF. Google Mom's club fullerton. You will find something. Or St Jude's may have info.

Hello!

Welcome to Fullerton! Have you considered the MOMS Club? There's a minimal yearly fee ($20 or so) but with membership, you get park dates, play dates for age specific groups, moms night out, and all sorts of fun parties during the year (Halloween, spring, holiday, etc). It's a great way to get to know other mothers in your area. I met so many great kids and their mothers through this group. Check the Fullerton City website for the phone number in your area.

I hope you enjoy Fullerton and have a wonderful start with your lovely family here.

Take care,
L.
