I'd really like to know your opinions on these dentists. My dental insurance is really limited in the dentists I get to choose from. In my area, the only dentists on the plan that are taking new patients are the following:
Namrita Singh (Allen)
Janet Diem Tran (Allen - Dynasty Dental)
Nelson Wong (Plano - North Dallas Dental Associates)
Sanjay Rao (Plano)

We go to Dr. Singh. I like her because I have never felt like there was a sales pitch the second I walk in the door. She does the work that needs to be done. There is NO mention of "OK your plan gives you this much $$, so you need to get, x,y,and z" She and her staff are very friendly.
I use Dr. Janet Tran. I went to her because I have Carrington Dental Plan and not a lot of dentists take it. I liked her so I kept going to her. She's thorough and straight up. Also pleasant. She and her assistants are from oriental line but are very Americanized. I hate to sound steroetypical, but I get the feeling they were probably top of the class because they seem to be very good at what they are doing. I was comfortable enough to go back for a root canal there, and later a crown, even took my son in for an eval. I hope you are as satisfied as I have been.

Dr Singh is awesome I'd highly recommend her. Her staff is really great too.
I, like you, have very limited dental insurance options (seems like it's mostly Monarch Dental). I see a Dr. Namrita Singh in a Plano office (Feathertouch Dental). I like her for the most part - I don't like dentists in general, though, so that's about as high praise as I've ever given for a dentist. She's had a recent change in staff in Plano, though, and the dental hygienist I saw yesterday wasn't very good. Something to take into account.
