Okay I have to ask why do you need traffic cones? I get orange cones because people use them for sports but traffic cones.
Just wondering if anyone has bought orange traffic cones at a store.
Thanks!
Thank you all for taking the time to leave suggestions, as I am looking for some to decorate with for my son's construction birthday party.

Try Dicks Sporting Goods or on-line.
You can also call your local police station - as sometimes they have some that they "can't use" anymore but won't throw them away..if it's for a neighborhood or school - they might donate them to you!!!
here's ebay's listings!!

Usually places like a feed store/co-op or maybe Tractor Supply may carry them Sometimes riding arenas (place where you taking horseback riding lessons) like to use them for practice or for lessons. I know you can buy them online from horse-related websites like maybe Chicks Discount Saddlery or Jeffers Equine. You could always do a general online search too. Hope this helps! Good luck.
We have a preschool supply store here called Lakeshore Learning. When my kids were small I bought some cones there that we used to make obstacle courses on our large driveway. They were smaller though, not full size cones like you'd see on the street.
I took a load of tree trimmings to the dump and found two there that they were going to bury with the rest of the trash.
Go to the dump and ask one of the workers to look for you. You probably could get them for $1 ea.
Good luck to you and yours.
Try grainger.com if there is no grainger store in your area
Not big ones. But Target does carry smaller one...In the sporting section.
My son had a friend that was obsessed with cones! He got the little orange ones (about 12" high) that they use for soccer drills. I think at Dick's or Dunham's.
I know this answer comes a little late, but I just got something in the mail today that made me remember your question. It's a birthday party supply catalog called Birthday Express. In it, they have a ton of really cute stuff for a construction themed birthday party. I thought you might be interested in checking it out, that is, unless the party happened already or you don't have the time for shipping. Anyhow, the website is www.birthdayexpress.com. Have fun!
The small (usually flimsy) ones can be purchased at Target/Walmart and places like that usually in the car or sports section.
Toys r us! In the bike/car section
