Disabled Mommy of 2 Not Able to Go to Mall for Pics. Are There Other Options?

It eats me inside on a daily basis, that I have only been able to have portraits done once for my 4 year old, and my youngest daughter will be 3 in November, and I've yet to have her pictures done. The portraits I had done on my oldest doughter, were lost in the fire that destroyed our home and left me in a coma for a month and left me permanetly/chronically/terminally disabled/ill (however it's labeled by the doctor of the moment), and I just haven't been able to get those precious faces captured on film like that again. At first, I couldn't bring myself to get it done, because I was so angry over losing my (then newborn's) portriats, baby book, all the precious keepsakes a first time new mommy saves. But, then ofcourse, I'm reminded that I may have lost those "things" but my baby was well and alive and would make a full recovery. I finally got embarrassed and had to change portriat studios because of the many cancellations I would end up making, because of unexpected hospital visits, or because from day to day my health can vary, and a lot of days I can't make it to the shower, let alone downtown and to a mall.
Forgive me, it sounds like I'm feeling sorry for myself, and I'm not... I consider myself blessed. I guess I just really haven't had an outlet to even communicate or just write down the madness in my head (hehe)... Guess that's what blogginh is about? Anyhow, I guess I was wondering if there are any photographers who are local, and don't have a huge parking lot and crowd to get to their store, and may have the patience and mobility that a lot of the portriat studios aren't able to have (understandably). My oldest daughter turns 4 on the 24th (my b-day too), and I would love to be able to get her pics done with her sister... Please, I would be so grateful for any ideas, solutions, names, availability, and pricing that anyone may have. Thank you SO much. Yall are some amazing mama's... and you're appreciated!

I'm sorry for your misfortune. There are many wonderful photographers who will come out to your home. When my daughter was born, I used several at different times and was always pleased.

YOu should get recommendations from friends, however, check out BBB.

GOOD LUCK! Not many good photographers are in malls anyway these days!!

A lot of photographers will come to your home. I know a great one in South Arlington/Mansfield area. I don't want to publish her info on a public forum because she works out of her house, but I'd be happy to give it to you via email.
