I have tilapia fillets. I'm really kind of tired of cooking the same meals. What else can accompany tilapia fillets besides rice and spinach or brocolli? As many ideas as possible would be greatly appreciated.

OHHHHHH my fav
Dijon Mustard mixed with some honey brushed on the fish, salt/pepper, dip in Jap bread crumbs (panko) and pan fry with just a touch of oil on your pan, do not fry IN oil fry with SOME oil. I serve with fresh cut strawberries and mint with a touch of sugar sprinkled and a spinich side salad.
Baby spinach, crushed walnuts, arugala, fresh shaved parm cheese with a balsamic vinagarette dressing. Oh and do not forget the lemon wedges for serving, if you want to get fancy cut in half or quarters and grill with the lines on one side(quarters) or the face of it(half).

Squeeze fresh lemon juice over your fish, season w/salt and pepper, slather with good mayo (both sides) broil til done.....the mayo will be brown and bubbly.

Au graten potatos or Orzo tossed with butter and fresh parsley - asparagus tips w/julienne glazed carrots or blanched green beans tossed with minced garlic olive oil and a touch of butter - salt and pepper to taste.
Tossed salad w/ walnuts, dried cranberrys, manderan oranges, blue cheese crumbles w/rasberry vinegarette......crunchy french bread

Of course nice white wine! Have a good dinner---I'm making myself hungry.

Definitely fish tacos! I found loads of recipes online that use a red cabbage slaw to go with it, but you can use whatever toppings you like. With rice and beans on the side, it makes the meal go a lot further.

We cook tilapia fillets in a red marsala sauce with some veggies in the sauce (like green beans) and serve over brown rice. You can make the sauce yourself or you can do what we do and buy it at Trader Joes. Yum! Other ideas: in spaghetti sauce, in fish "packets" of tinfoil (google recipes - you put in lemon, herbs and veggies in the packet and grill it). You can make a chowder - a cream/potato based soup or a tomato based soup. You can make fish tacos (with soft corn tortillas, white mexican cheese, fresh limes, cilantro, shredded cabbage, and avocado). That's all that comes to mind right now.

I love to make fish tacos with tilapia. I don't use a recipe really...just use what I have and throw it togther. In a perfect world I would cook, season, cut up the fish then put it in warmed tortillas with some kind of greens (I usually use whatever salad we have in the frig or green peppers), maybe some cilantro, black beans, sour cream or mix up a little sauce and chopped tomotoes or salsa. Serve with a little rice on the side. You need a lot less fish per serving so it's kinda economical too :)
