MY SON WAS BOW LEGGED. HE GREW OUT OF IT. I DO KNOW THIS BOY THAT I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH AND HE WAS VERY BOW LEGGED AND HE DIDN'T GROW OUT OF HIS AND MAYBE ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO HE FINALLY GOT HIS LEGS STRAIGHT. THEY HAD TO BREAK HIS BONES. DON'T GET AFRAID. THAT WAS BECAUSE HIS PARENTS NEVER DID ANYTHING ABOUT THAT AND HE WAS 23 YEARS OLD WHEN HE FINALLY DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT. IF YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT EARLY YOU WON'T HAVE NOTHING TO REALLY WORRY ABOUT. JUST WAIT AND SEE IF YOUR SON GROWS OUT OF IT.

My son, who is now 11, was very bow legged. In fact, my grandmother used to say that he looked like he was riding a horse!! I was a bit concerned, but my doctor told me that he would grow out of it. He did. He now walks strong and tall. I would not be too concerned unless he acts like he is in pain.

My now four year old son started walking at 8 months and had the same problem. In fact, his doctor said it was the worst case she'd ever seen. I was afraid he'd have to wear Forrest Gump boots but he never did. They do grow out of it, as hard to believe as that is. I'm sure yours will be fine too.

I jsut wanted to write you & let you know about a place that is Free of charge that you can go if YOU are truely concerned.
It is called Shriners Hospital. They work with kids & families to help children. Theya re great. I learned about it b/c my G-father was a Shriner up until the day he passed away. He was one that would refer or tell people about it. I have seen the people that they help. SO if you need go there, or I can find a number & see if there is one locally for you to see.

BUT you know he might grow out of it. Some babies do. I had a friend that had a baby w/ REALLY bowed legs & he did for the most part.
So anyway, I just thought that I would write & let you know about that.
