Daycare Recomendations in the Euless Area - Metroplex Chapel....CC on Glade Rd?

My daughter will be turning 2 in September. My husband was laid off a few weeks after she was born and has been staying at home with her. He's looking for more work now and so I'm in search of a daycare now. When I was pregnant, I had done quite a bit of searching and thought I had found one I liked. But I'm starting to think about other options now that she's older. Does anyone have any opinions about Metroxplex Chapel off 183? What about Children's Courtyard on Glade Rd? I would personally really like for her to go to a "private" church-based facility if I can find one that A) has "normal" hours from 7-6 and B) still provides the quality educational emphasis and isn't just like a church nursery babysitting area like some I had visited.
Thanks in advance for your feedback! It's a little crazy going back to this searching phase and not having the luxury of the 12 wk maternity time off to do this!

What can I do next?

Hi Huges Montessori School, in Grapevine, It's a Montessori School. They take children from 18 mos to 6 years But the hours are from 8.30 to 2.30 only and it is a four day Monday till Thurday only, You can research Maria Montessori, The children learn so much in a Montessori School. The school is in the Unity Church in Grapevine off of Glade.Good Luck in your search.

My daughter took her daughter to Little Tykes off 157, behind Home Depot, when she was 6 weeks. She is now 7 months. She has been very happy with the care her daughter has received; however since she has a new job at CC off Glade she is moving her there as of next week. My friend has also used CC off Glade when her child was 2 and has been completely satisfied, as her daughter is now 8 and with the education she received at CC at such a young age, she is above average in her class. Good luck to you and your decision.

Hi M., I may sound like a broken record, but if you don't get enough recommendations from folks here, i cannot tell you how much I LOVE the child care resource and referral service. There is only one per area and they are tied to licensing (meaning any referral automatically is licensed or registered if a family home). for only $10 you can tell a specialist over the phone what you are looking for in terms of location, price, curriculum, etc and the will come back to you with 5-7 options. Also, they have free resources to really evaluate what quality is in a child care sestting - incredible!! Here is the link if you need it:)

My daughter goes to a licensed in home daycare in Hurst that we LOVE. Its not the church that you mentioned, but it is run by a Christian woman and they are taught manners, behavior and bible lessons just like a church would. She only accepts a few children so each one can receive a lot of personal attention. I think it would be a great move from being home with daddy to an in home center rather than a large daycare. My daughter (3 yrs) has no problem keeping up academically with her 5yr old brother (who does not attend this daycare). Please let me know if you would like her information, she is fantastic.
