For the last 6 months I have been having the most worse cramps during that time of the month. I also have been having some little clotts with it. The last two months I have had back pain with it. I also have been having a warm feeling down the back of my right leg like I have peed my pants. Has anyone had this before

I would go to the doctor.

I actually have really bad cramps. Funny saying that, I use a body wrap to calm my cramps and it works. Its weird, but the tingly feeling helps the pain ease! I use them now when my cramps are really bad. They help for bloating too.

You should have you GYN check you out. I had that.......I don't know how old you are, but when perimenopause starts - everything goes haywire. It happened with me. I had exactly what you are describing - combined with very heavy flow. That warm feeling can be a nerve.
Double check with your doctor, so you don't have worry on top of being uncomfortable.

Like everyone else, I recommend you please see your doctor. I had severe cramps (well, still do) and the pain in my leg too as well as back pain that was so bad I had to keep a heating pad at work! It turned out to be an ovarian cyst which was pushing on my back and leg nerves. It could be any number of things, please see your doc and have it checked out.

I would definitely consult with your doctor. Painful periods can be normal, but they can also be a sign that something is wrong. You should see your doc and get a pap smear and any other tests they recommend. I will think good thoughts and hope everything is ok!

Have you been checked for fibroids? You also didn't say how old you were but my periods got really bad in my mid forties and along with the fibroids, I was miserable. Cure was a hysterectomy. I would say check it out with your OB/GYN and see if there is a problem.

Hi nicole,
i read on a kotex wrapper that during your mentruation, it is advisable to : one drink lots of water, and refrain from consuming lots of caffeine (coffee and chocolates). Dehydration and caffeine consumption are the major causes of headaches and crampings during periods. As far as back pains, if you've had an epideral/spinal for a c-section, i believe that is a pain we have to endure. I have four children all born with c-sections and a spinal/a shot given through my spine to numb my body from my chest down. Since then, i experience excruciating pains on my lower back. Hope this will assist you with you ailments. Most importantly, consult with a doctor.

Definitely go see someone. It sounds like there might be something wrong with one of the nerves in your leg since the sensation thing is off, also the cramps and clots are too weird, especially since it has been a few months of that. Please don't wait any longer. you have children that need you and you need to be healthy and strong to raise them! Go take care of yourself!!!
:)
Good luck!!!

I had really bad dysmenorrhea before I had a child. It was relieved byr egular exercise, meaning the pain wasn't as bad when i made sure i exercised at least 2x a week.

It was supposed to disappear once you've had a child but it happened to me once again.

Maybe it worked backwards for you: you got dysmenorrhea AFTER you had a child.

But just wanted to let you know that VERY BAD menstrual cramps are a regular thing with some of the women out there.

My periods were always like what you describe. The pain/heat down my right leg would be strange. When I had trouble getting pregnant, they found that I had endometriosis, which was probably the cause for those symptoms during my period. Since they cleaned all of the scar tissue out, those symptoms aren't near as bad. I had a baby 6 months ago so my periods are still a little different but are never like they use to be. Ask your obgyn about the possibility of endometriosis. The only downside is that it's an invasive procedure to find out if you have it. Good luck!

I would check with your ob if it is not normal for you. I had the cramping and heavy bleeding(clots) and I though it was hormonal. Turns out I had a big cist in my ovary. Not trying to scare you, but unusually heavy periods, cramping, back pain (similar to labor pains) were my main complaints. I was shocked to find out what it was. Good luck, hope it is just your body changing, but I would check it out.
