Hi,
I am thinking about getting breat implants. I wanted to know others opions and exsperences (sp?) ...any information would be very helpful. I live in MN and if anyone has surgens they went to and liked, i'd like to know. No matter location. I have 2 friends who went to 2 different surgens, but i still want more info. They seen Dr. Joe Gryskiewics and Dr. Michael Fasching. I have been doing alot of reserch. This is a very BIG choise and want to be very well informed!
I am 28 with three kids. Happily Married. I am done having kids. I had a small A before kids and now i have NO boob left. It is the most frustrating thing finding tops. If i buy a bra..I lift up my arms and even the 32s go right over my boobs. I feel real bad for my husband when he goes shoppin with me. This surgury is for me (my husband loves me the way I am). I have talked to my doctor already and just want more info before I get this done.
Thanks so much!

Dr. Richard Tholen at Minneapolis Plastic Surgery (http://www.mpsmn.com/index.html) is who I use as my plastic surgeon. I am currently saving up money for my mommy procedure (breast augmentation and tummy tuck - I have so much excess skin from having twins). He did my ears (they stuck out) when I was a kid and they look very natural nobody can tell that I ever had a problem. He did my mom's nose after she broke it and same with my sister (he also removed some of her moles and you can't tell where they were).

I had mine done a year and a half ago in FDL, WI. I am so happy with the decision that I made. Dr. Schaefer was the surgeon, him and his staff were amazing. They were very helpful throughout the whole procedure. The cost was not bad either. I would definitely do it again. My aunt also had hers done by him as well. I do not recommend Fox Valley Wellness Center in Oshkosh, WI as a friend of mine went there and had to go back for 3 additional surgeries. If you would like any additional info on my surgery you can contact me through my email @ ____@____.com.
I whole-heartedly recommend my Dr., Dr. Mark Migliori, MMK Plastic Surgery, Edina, ###-###-####. Very skilled, compassionate Dr. He was recommended to me by a friend who went to him for numerous, complicated surgeries following breast cancer treatment. He's the best!
I have implants. I got mine almost 8 yrs ago BEFORE I had children. I was also an A cup (small A). The only negative is that they need re-done now. I breastfed all 3 of my kids for a year or more and like you, have no breast tissue left. Mine are saline, under muscle round McGhan brand. I got a large C which, looking back, was too big! BUT over the years they've shrunk to a large B. I have some rippling which is annoying. I think I'm going to get mine redone soon. Oh, I do have some back pain. Good luck!
If you decide to you Dr. Fasching, tell him I said hi :) I had my breasts augemented about 10 years ago now, and haven't regretted a moment of it! If I could change anything, it would be where I had my incision - you can't see mine at all (it is under my breasts in the crease), but I would still choose another method like armpit, areola, or belly button. I am now a full C/small D, which is perfect for my body shape. You may want to remember that as we get older, we tend to gain weight, some of which is going to be "breast weight." I choose a little bit smaller size because of this (was going to do a full D) - didn't want to be 60 yrs old, packed on some pounds, and ta-tas til Tuesday. Also, I would strongly suggest getting them placed "submuscular" like I did - I am really happy with that decision. Recovery time is longer, but then it is all you on the top of the implant.
You will really like Dr. Fasching and LOVE his staff. I met him because he is a friend of my dad's (worked at the same hospital). He has also done a fair amount of work on my mom (shhhh - she tells everyone she's had no work), and it all turned out beautiful, as well as her twin sister. Dr. Fasching did such a good job that even my GP couldn't tell at first and then when I told him, he was very, very impressed with the work.
My surgery was also "just for me." I was done having kids, decent health, and felt disproportionate on top.
Good luck!
hi-i just had a breat augmentation in june. i absolutely love the results. it was quite painful afterwards, but that's to be expected with any surgery. it's tough because you cannot lift anything for 6 weeks, and with kids, it's difficult but you must follow this rule or your muscle could push the implant out of place. you'll find it hard to do simple things like turn the steering wheel. just to warn you, my breasts are now numb. from right above the nipple to the incision. so someone could twist my nipples and i would never know. you do have to wear a surgical bra for 6 weeks so i would do it in the winter. it killed me that for half the summer i had to wear this ugly bra. i went to dr. mahjouri in fridley. www.mahjouricosmeticsurgery.com i was recommended to him and he is wonderful. (not creepy at all-very professional) he does the surgery at a surgery center in plymouth. he does free consultations, so check him out. oh one more thing, i highly reccommend going with silicone and not saline. it's more expensive, but well worth it. my friend got saline and hers are very hard and fake feeling. i got high profile silicone and they feel so incredibly real. i went from a 36b to a 36d (397cc's) and LOVE them. they're small enough that they don't look out of place on my body (which i wanted since i have kids and don't want to look like a bimbo) but big enough to wear a low cut shirt if i'm going out or something. i got a lot of people that looked down upon my decision. my family is not supportive of decisions like this, and i very much regret telling some people. (mainly my mom) so if you think there are any people that would not be supportive of your decision, you do not need to tell them. not too many people will stright up ask you if got a boob job. it's your body and you and your husband's decision. nobody NEEDS to know about it. if you have any questions, feel free to email me: ____@____.com LUCK! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!
