I have 2 questions for you wonderful ladies.
My husband and I are looking for a cooking class we can do together. Does anyone know where I can find one? We would prefer some kind of ethnic food class.
We are looking for a campground to take our camper and leave it for the summer. We only want to go about an 1-2 hours out from Round Lake. We are looking for a family friendly enviroment.

For camp grounds I would recommend Paradise Park in Garden Prairie, Illinois. Beautiful grounds and nice people. My in-laws have had a unit there for several years. Lots of activities for the kids, fishing lake, swimming lake. Garden Prairie is about 1 hour west from Round Lake.
As for cooking classes I would recommend any of the local community colleges. Harper College in Palatine has a good variety of cooking classes through the continuing education series. Not too expensive and knowledgeable instructors. I have not checked out Lake County yet.

The Double KD ranch in Baraboo, Wi is an awesome family friendly campground. My husbands family have 4 permanent campsites up there. The do fun activities every weekend. Very close to Devil's lake for hiking, swimming and canoeing.
Very Close to Wisconsin Dells too!
