I'm not sure which "work at home schemes" you got burned on but I've worked for two wk at home businesses that were featured on the news. There are 4 legitimate wk at home companies I'm familiar with. Although I've never heard of ContractXchange, check into these as well: West.com, LiveOps.com, AlpineAccess.com & Telenetwork.com (located in San Marcos, TX). I've worked for West and currently wking for Alpine Access. These are all legimate companies for wk at home jobs. LiveOps is very much like West and West Corp's payroll is in San Antonio, TX. Just remember, any job should not require you to pay THEM for anyreason other than a background ck which is only usually around $40. I've also signed up to do instore demos with StayingConnected.com...Sorry I couldn't answer your question about ContractXchange but hope my other recommendations help!

never used.. but my husband and i collect scrap aluminum and copper, and stainless steel.. we turn it in every once in while.. we made over 500 last week.... you go around on garbage night.. and pick up metals.. find a recycle company find out how much they pay for things.. they even take old washer and dryers .... you get about 30. each for each washer and dryer... it is good money... and off the books... we really love doing this..

I googled them and there are lots of complaints about the cost of training. Also don't know if your kids are at home with you, but many of the companies require a "quiet" home environment and if you have kids at home will screen you out during the background check. Why not try being a mystery shopper which you can do with your children. Good luck.

Been there done that on several work-from-home opportunities. You'll probably have to google the company and try to find some recent posts or chats (in the last 6 months). Check with the Better Business Bureau as well at bbb.org. (I tried to look for you but my Internet is very slow tonight.)

The questions I always ask are, "How long until you started making a profit?" and "Who else do you know that is doing this and making a profit that I can talk to?" If it is a really great company, there should be a lot of people that have been doing it for years. If there is a great turnover, then it is not what most people thought was worth it.
