Do any of you out there use (or have used) ChildTime on 3040 in Lewisville? I'd love to hear some feed back on this place. We are currently enrolled at Children's Courtyard but it's just getting so expensive w/2 kids I've started to look around a little. It's stressing me out thinking of moving my kids too, have any of you gone through this? How did your kids do? I have a 3 yr. old and an 6 month old. 3yr is pretty out going but grew up at this school. I'm sure the baby won't really know the difference too much. Thanks in advance I look forward to any feed back you offer :-)

What can I do next?

DO NOT use them!!!! I speak from personal experience. Long story short...my oldest son (now 3, but 1 at the time) was there and was attacked by other students on the playground and had his face, ears, neck, chest and back scratched so badly that he was still bruised and bleeding from his ears when I went to pick him up after work. The director called to tell me he'd been scratched, but was ok once they cleaned him up. I figured it was just "kids being kids." If I'd TRULY understood how badly he'd been mauled, I would've left work IMMEDIATELY and taken him to the doctor for treatment. Anyway, the state found he was the victim of neglect, since the teacher was no where to be found at time of incident. Nothing else ever came of it, but I soon learned afterwards that the same teacher was put in charge of the infant room. I BEG you to not even consider them...no matter what the cost!!! If you need more info or would like to see the pictures of how badly my son was hurt (we took them immediatley for documentation for the state), please contact me. I never want a parent to have to see their baby suffer from neglect the way we did. I'm just thankful it wasn't worse!!!

I don't know about this particular one but I do know that the one in Bedford was shut down-I am sorry that you are in this predicament, making choices for our children can be so hard. Blessings on you!

I don't really know anything about ChildTime from personal experience, but I've heard it's pretty good.

Ps...Feb. 15 is a great birthday! That's mine too!

Truthfully, you have your kids at one of the best centers out there. I hope you're receiving the discount for multiple kids. Just curious - are they at Lewisville Lab CCY or the regular Lewisville one next door?

FYI- The parent company of CCY is named Learning Care Group. You could look them up online. They also own La Petite & -wait for it - Childtime as well as Tutor Time and a group of Montessori schools. The company acquired some of these centers in the last couple of years and may still be consolidating and/or determining which to keep open.

Children's Courtyard is their "premium brand" if you will. Good luck.
