Maybe you saw the movie or read the books...i saw it ant then read the whole series of books about rebecca Blomwood,,,i love this character i feel so identified...=) even dear hb liked the movie cuz he said she reminded him of me...and he hates chick flicks!

well....here is my question, have you read the other books by Sophie Kinsella? the non shopaholic? im figuring out what new book get for my kindle, and i dont know if i will like her other books as much as i loved the shopaholic series!!

another suggestion for what book should i get, i love o read historic novels, but right now im on the mood of something easy going and light that will make me smile!

What can I do next?

I loved Shopaholic series! SO GREAT! I read Can You Keep a Secret by Kinsella and LOVED that one too. The main character reminds of me of Becky Bloomwood with the same kind of humor. I swear, every time I read one of those books, I laugh out loud. Enjoy and let us know if you come across any other good ones!

There's a series I enjoyed, I first one was called "size 12 is not fat" by Meg Cabot. It was recommended to me by the same friend who turned me on to the shopaholic series. It's about a former pop star who now works in a dorm in NY, and helps solve random crimes.

The Stephanie Plum novels are also light mysteries, if you like a mystery.

Not sure if any of these are available on Kindle, but I liked Something Borrowed and Something Blue (2 books) by Emily Giffin (I think). Also Love Walked In and Belong to Me by Marisa de los Santos. And Circle of Friends, Quentins, The Scarlet Feather or just about anything by Maeve Binchy. All of them were pretty light and made me smile :) .

As stated below - DO read Emily Giffin Something Borrowed and Something Blue! Any book by Kinsella has been good that I have read thus far. Jane Green is another author that writes very similar type novels.

I just read a book by Marian Keys - "The Other Side of the Story". Her books are fun and light and have interesting female protagonists.

Janice (I think) Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series is one of my favorites also.

If you want something really laugh out loud funny get the Stephanie Plum Books by Janet Evonovich. Start with the first book "One for the Money."

I have read "The Undomestic Goddess" and "Can You Keep A Secret" both by Kinsella and both were good. I just finished " Sara's Key"- by Tatiana de Rosnay. It is a fictional novel about an actuall historical event in 1942 Paris and the rounding up of Jewish families by the French police. It is a easy reading book and has a great story I loved it. I have them on my Nook and am currently reading "Water for Elephants". They should all be available for the Kindle as well.
