Peroxide is a wonderful disinfectant and safe for many uses in the home.
My kids have those battery powered toothbrushes. We had to get one for our son per his speech therapist (and of course big sis has to have same) My kids have been battling a virus for a wk now (well we belive it's a virus, but with no health ins there is no way to know for sure) and I would like to clean them. If they were regular toothbrushes I would put them in the dw. Is there any way to clean them? We are on a very very tight budget since DH lost his job 3 mos ago so throwing out and replacing isnt really an option since we can barely afford the toothpaste. I will not put them in bleach or anything like that so if anyone has a helpful idea I would really appreciate it. Thanks mamas!
Thanks Mamas! I think I am going to do both....first soak in listerine for the germs them hold the heads in boiling water to eliminate the alcohol from the listerine and futher kill those germs. PERFECT!!! Really appreciate ur thoughts.....altho....I'm kinda thinking why didnt I think of that!!!!! Much appreciated :)

I'd soak the heads in Listerine, it kills germs but is safe!
Soak them in Listerine for 10 minutes.
Great suggestions from other moms. Also wanted to suggest that you apply for health insurance with NJ Family Care for your children. It's usually free if you aren't working.
