ToysRus has a great one for about 150.00 nice sized! Happy hunting
Okay ladies, I am trying to get all my decor done before everyone else and while supplies are high. Where should I buy a train for under the tree? Anyone have a favorite one that isn't cheap or flimsy? I can buy online or at the store. Just let me know. Would like to keep the price reasonable.

Lionel if you want one that big. There are bigger sizes...
Or you can go to CharlesRo.com and surf the different sizes there.
They have the best prices, too.
YMMV

i love rudolph so i got the rudolph one that toys r us always sells at christmas time. its so cute and the kids love rudolph so they seem more interested since its "different" than a regular set.
Check Walmart store r online that is where I found mine
IF you want one that isn't cheap or flimsy, don't bother with anything you could find at a discount mega-store. Try a hobby store in your area... They usually specialize in things like scale models, etc. You can find many sizes/options at places like Hobby Lobby or HobbyTown, which I see both are near your town. Perhaps Roy's Train World on Country Club Drive? :)
If you want to go all out, Lionel has a catalogue every year with their available train models and the have fabulous Christmas options.
there is a train store in Mesa, Roys train world. They have hundreds of trains, christmas themed and otherwise. A wide variety of price ranges. ____@____.com
Hobby Lobby or Hobby Bench. You can choose the scale you are looking for and they have trains that vary in price to fit your budget.
