You didn't say how much you are willing to spend and what your husband's interests are. Of course, if the sky's the limit, get him a plasma tv or a nice watch or something. But if you're looking to save money, I like the idea about using your children's photos to make something more personal. I'm thinking of getting my husband a DVD burner.

i personally like to just ask. My husband wanted a japanese cartoon series dvd box sets. I also get him some colgne that he loves.
Usually you get a person what they like, each person is different, even guys. My husband isnt into sports or beer like some guys are, but he does like movies and tv shows which now days you can order just about any movie or tv show :)

We just moved into our new home and the basement has my kids toy room, and the big rec room is my husband's room. We just got him a big flat screen TV and I am going to surprise him by painting it in his Red Skins colors for Christmas. I am also flying his mom in from out-of-state as a HUGE surprise. Just find the things he LOVES and it doesnt have to be big or expensive, but something great. I have even just made my husband very nice meals years when we were in tight financial spots. Good luck!

I agree with asking or just be very intuitive. My husband loves, loves baseball and hockey....tickets would be a great gift. He's not the electronic games guy or a gadget guy so all these GPS, XBox, Wii things would mean nothing to him. Last year I got him the boxed set of Seinfeld. He just broke it out again when his brother was here visiting! I would say a nice sweatshirt from his favorite team, some tickets to a game, some great books. One year I gave my husband a camping stove since we love going camping...he loved it! Use your best sense of what he spends time doing or watching and go from there.

If you're looking for something low-key and meaningful, get him something that incorporates your son's picture. I always use shutterfly.com, because you can upload and store your photos and make them into great gifts right on the same site. I know the other photo sharing sites do the same thing (Kodak, Snapfish, etc..).
Without knowing your husband's interests, it's difficult to recommend a gift, but I think every guy likes time alone with his wife. Get a babysitter and escape for a night of dinner and a movie, or if you can, maybe a quick weekend away.
Happy Holidays!!
