HI Mamas,
My friends and I want to find a place, either a park or neighborhood, where we can drive through and look at lights this weekend. Aren't there some neighborhoods that are popular for that? Any suggestions of where we can do this would be great.
thanks!
J.

There is an awesome neighborhood in McKinney that actually puts up signs showing the best direction to drive through the neighborhood to see all the lights. I think it is called Eldorado Heights or Eldorado Park (maybe someone else knows for sure). You just go West from Hwy. 75 and there is a big stone entrance for the neighborhood. It is a mile a two off 75 on the right hand side.

Deerfield in Plano usually has a fantastic display. Your family can even take a carriage ride through the neighborhood to see the lights.

Santa's Village in Richardson is supposed to be amazing! We are going to it this year as well. Here is the website:

I'm sure there are displays like this elsewhere in the metroplex, but these two in Corinth are AMAZING. All other houses pale in comparison. We sat in the minivan outside one of these houses through 3 songs last night. That's all the kids wanted to see! There's a sign in the yard that tells you what radio station to tune to while you watch. I think it's 107.3. One house might have a video on the website. Nothing like seeing it in person though!

OMG! My husband and I drove over to Park Estates (I believe thats what its called). Its off of Mockingbird near The Lovefield Airport. Anyway the lights on the homes there are awesome! They even have a horse carriage ride you can take but its 125.00 anyway we parked and walked around, it was very cool.
