I would call the police and have the kid arrested for breaking and entering. That would wake his parents up to the fact that they are raising a bully plus put it on record that this child has been harrassing my child. Good luck!

Bullying and breaking into your home are both very serious criminal matters. U don't describe details, so I have many questions. How old is the bully (and your kid)? Did he threaten, intimidate or hurt anyone? How/what did he do to break in? Were there any other witnesses? I'd probably call the police to file a complaint, maybe talk to the kids parents, and definitely speak to the school officials (Principal, teacher & resource/safety officer if there is one). Stay on it. The bully sounds predatory. Watch your child's emotional state carefully and seek further help if needed.

Call the police. A crime occurred and this bully is obviously out of control.

ummmmm....call the police. You'd not only be doing yourself and your child a favor, but you may end up saving the kid by giving him a taste of what can happen when you break the law!!

Regardless of the kid's age, it's against the law to break into anyone's home. Considering the fact that he/she is bullying your child makes it all the more scary. I would call the police because it's obvious that kid's parents aren't doing anything to stop their child from terrorizing your's. I wish you & your child the best!

Dominique,
It's not your place to "find him and make him confess." This is not an issue of bullying. If someone broke into your house, then you should have called to police at the time that it happened. A crime occurred. It wouldn't be your place to play amateur detective. Crime victims don't hunt down the criminal and bring him to justice. You call the police if your home is broken into by ANYONE.

call the police and file a report so you have a paper trail, plus his parents would be notified.

We really need more informatin before we can offer any concrete advice...how old are these children...( and if they are very young, WHY was your child home alone?) what do you mean by breaking in...did he just show up unannounced or did he actually break in a locked door in order to gain entry.

I didn't see this response...in addition to calling the police, you MUST report the bullying to the principal. And make sure that the principal does something about it. In the end, you are the one who will have to make sure your child is protected, but in many states it's a law that the schools have to prevent bullying.

Good luck,
B.

Call the cops immediated. Putting hands on your child is bad enough, but entering your home takes it to a whole new level.
