I have a wonderful in-home day care provider in Oak Brook Terrace - just off Butterfield and Summit. She is fantastic - she was a daycare administrator for years and has a degree in childhood development. She is licensed and I learned about her through the YWCA. The group of kids are wonderful and she runs a neat and tidy ship. My daughter has thrived there and it is a very nurturing environment. Try College Nannies and Tutors in Glenview. We used them one summer and LOVED the girl that worked for us.
Check with DuPage Childcare Resources, through the YWCA. I got a listing of licensed daycare homes, preschools, etc from them and found it very helpful.
