Dear Mommas,
My 3 year old scratched himself this week-end on his lower cheek. It actually scabbed nicely, but Murphy's law...he by accident opened it.

Question: how do you teach your child to enjoy life and not open scabs etc....so they can heal???? What can I do as a momma to help it heal faster?

Thank you.
Jilly

They itch when they are healing. keep it moist with some neosporine and hopefully that will keep him from noticing it till it heals.

Yes, like Gradma T said, keep it moist. I'm like a child sometimes. If it's annoying, I pick at it.
I'd try to keep it moist with neosporine and vasoline, but if that doesn't stop him... scars are stroy tellers.... Lol. I have a ton to show my kids why they shouldn't do certain things. :)

Liquid Bandage, they sell it at Target. My 2.5 year old is the same way, sigh...
