I read on google where some one apparently used the site "celebration jar" to have family and friends write memories for her Mother's 60th birthday. I really want to do this for my mom , but can't find anything that will pull up related to this site.
Has anyone heard of this before or know of another site where you can do the same thing?

We did this for my dad. WE just had everyone write memories down and then printed them on paper and rolled each paper up like a little scroll and then found a pretty box to put them in. So each memory is a tiny little scroll. My dad can pull a scroll out and read it any time. It was fun but A LOT of work.

We did it for my mom for Mother's Day a few years ago. It was CHEAP!! We just got a nice jar from Target and all 5 of us (my siblings and I) wrote I think 20 things on pieces of paper that we rolled and put in there. She LOVED it. We used all different colors too so it looked gorgeous.

I haven't heard of it anywhere online, but I did something similar for my mom.

I bought a box and scanned a bunch of photos of my mom, brother and I. Then I printed the photos like wrapping paper and wrapped the box. I covered the wrapped box and lid with modge podge to seal it. Then my brother and I thought of as many happy memories as we could and I typed them up on pretty card stock. I cut them into strips and put them in the box. Anytime our mom needs/wants to smile, she can open the box and pull out a few random happy memories. She loves it!

Happy Birthday to your mom!
