Can you moms help me.... I have finally narrowed down my choice of gaming system for my 4 year old son to a LeapFrog brand gaming system. Most of you recommended the Leapster 2 and I have read wonderful things about it. However, I am also wanting to know what you think about the new Leapster Explorer. I am worried it may end up being more expensive with the charging station that's about $40, the carrying case, the cool camera attachment you can get, games, and the downloading cards to download games/apps from website. What do you recommend? Thank you so much!!!
We went Explorer. It has a touch screen. My son has a kid tough camera so skipping the camera. And I added the charger to his list for grandparents and uncles. The games are on sale now and there are coupons in Parents and in Parenting magazines Dec issues.

It does more , it's not just a game system it's also an e reader. And you already mentioned the camera attachment.
Walmart has them on roll back and there is a 10$ off coupon on banana nut cheerios .
so it comes out to 50$ for the explorer and no standing in line on black friday.
Honestly, I LOVE the Leapster 2. I also just saw Walmart's Black Friday ads and they are selling them for $25 that day!!! That is $25 less than what I paid for mine last year! That alone would have me there at 5 am! Good luck!
