Does anyone have suggestions on where I can purchase quart or pint canning jars CHEAP. I can find them at some of the stores for around $8 for a dozen. Any tips or hints on someplace that sells them cheaper would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much!

Sometimes the thrift stores or Goodwill will have them, you can always call and ask before you go. Then check Craig's List. Good luck and God Bless.

You might try a wanted add on craigslist. We use ziplock containers for a lot of things that we are just freezing but if you are wanting to be able to put them on a self, that won't work.

Why don't you join one of those e-clubs online where they trade stuff, free something or other. I forget the name. Then you can ask if anyone has any they won't be using. You could get the jars free and just buy new rims and seals.

L.,
Try garage or estate sales, maybe you could ask on Craig's list. Should not be hard to find cheap jars, then you can get new lids and rings. Maybe a thrift store?
