I know for a tablecloth or fabric, you put a dry towel over it...and use an iron...sometimes it'll lift it out. I don't konw of any other way.
Does anyone know how to get candle wax out of the carpet? If there is such a way.

Use a warm iron. Put white paper towels between the iron and the carpet, and change the position of the paper as the wax melts and is absorbed into the towels. Good luck!

Iron and several layers of paper bag (recommend using an inexpensive clothing iron). Lay the paper bag over the area with wax in it and gently press warm iron on bag, the paper should absorb the wax, but some will transfer to the iron as well. Go over it with clean bags a few times until wax is out of carpet, then use extra clean bags to get wax off iron.
Put a damp towel over the wax and use your iron on a low setting. Just press down, do not rub it in. You will go through several towels but it will melt the wax up and into the towels for you. Be prepared to throw the towels away. Make sure the towel is damp or you'll fry the carpet and I would test it first just to make sure your carpet is going to be ok. It worked for me and I did it again at a family members house when my husband spilled a red candle in their new carpet. You might have to get the carpet cleaned later if the candle was a dark color but the iron should take out all of the wax. Gook luck.
Use a brown paper bag ( preferably thick, like from the grocery store ) to cover the wax spot. Then with your iron on a low setting, iron over the area. The wax will melt and adhere to the bag. It might take a couple times, but it's worked wonders for me in the past! GL
Try baby oil or Avon SSS bath oil
Take white paper towels,it take quit a bit. Use a iron with out steam and place the paper towel on top of the wax press the hot iron on top and repeat as much as you need. It may take a bit of time. But it works. Have done it.
Take a B. paper bag and a warm iron. Iron the bag over the candle wax on the carpet. the iron will melt the wax and teh bag will absorb it. Just don't use the iron too hot to burn the carpet. Start out low and increase slowly. I've done this trick before and it's worked. Great way to get wax out of a lot of stuff. my dad and brother were surfers and they used to get surf board wax on a lot of stuff. My mom swears by this technique.
Good luck.

put wax paper on the wax and iron it with a iron set on low.
Peel out as much of the excess wax possible first. Then lay down a piece of clean white paper- packing paper or a white piece of computer paper next to the carpet- and then a thin stack of newspaper. Using a hot iron (the linen setting which is usually the hottest)- press firmly down on the paper to heat the wax. The wax should begin to transfer to the paper. By not using the newspaper directly against the carpet, this should prevent additional soiling to the carpet depending upon your carpet's color. Good luck- this process takes awhile but your patience will pay off.
Use paper towel and your iron. Keep changing the paper towel as you iron the wax into the towel. After several passes with the warm iron, the wax will be gone.
easy...lay a paper towel on it and iron it. it will come right off onto the paper towel
16 Years in the carpet business. An iron was used in the "old days." Buy "Goo-gone" @ Walmart or another store (adhesive remover). Punch SMALL holes in the wax area, put a few drops @ a time into the wax area - it will begin to desolve, as you carefully shave it off. Goo-gone is a safe citrus product. Or call me @ 972 219- 1994. I think that I read somewhere that you can put a paper sack over the spot and a hot iron on the sack, which will melt the wax and the sack will absorb it...you might investigate this a little further. I think I read it in a magazine.
Good luck!

put wax paper over it and iron on low heat...the candle wax will stick to the wax paper -- peel it off like an iron on
Just place an old towel on the wax and iron it (on a very low setting). It may take a few rounds but it generally works.
try taking a piece of fabric (t-shirt or something) and putting it on top of the wax. take a hot iron and iron over the wax. the t-shirt should absorb the wax, bringing it out of the carpet. this has worked on upholstered furniture for me but i've never tried carpet.
I'm not sure if you've found anything yet but I sell Gold Canyon Candle products and they have a wonderful wax remover. I have not personally tried it on carpet but if you're interested I don't mind doing so. It works so well on everything else. Get a brown paper bag and lay it over the place the wax spilled. Then get your iron and iron the paper bag. This will melt the wax and the paper bag will absorb it.
Put a terry cloth towel over the wax and iron it off. It will ruin the towel, but will get it out of the carpet. Good luck!
Put down a piece of newspaper and iron over it. Keep moving the paper and ironing more until the wax is gone!
use paper towels and a hot iron. lay the paper towels over the wax and run the iron over the paper towels the heat melts the wax and soaks it in to the paper. may have to repeat a few times till all the wax is gone.
get a wet towel and place it over the wax, then heat up your iron and iron over the wet towel and it with pick the wax up onto the towel by melting it.
I was going to recommend the brown paper bag and an iron, but I see that someone else already did. It works. The warm iron melts the wax and lifts it into the paper. Just take your time and keep moving the iron and the paper bag to soak up the wax.
Good morning, V.,
A good way to accomplish this is to use a hair dryer to melt the wax and blot it out of the carpet with paper towels or an old tshirt. Just keep rubbing and heating and it will come out.
Good luck!
I used the iron over a brown paper bag trick that I learned from a funeral director. CAUTION, make sure not to use paper with print on it as the dye from the print will end up on your carpet:)
You should be able to get the wax up with your iron and a paper towel. Just set your iron on a low setting, put the paper towel over the candle wax and then iron it. The candle wax will melt enough that you should be able to get it off of your carpet. I tried this years ago and it worked! Good luck!
I got wax out by taking a paper sack and ironing the sack, put the sack on the wax and get your iron hot and iron over the wax it will come up on the paper. Good Luck M. of four grown kids
You have to use lighter fluid to get candle wax out of your carpet. It works for any color. I have used it plenty of times. I promise it works! I have to have candles everywhere! Good luck. -J.
Someone may have suggested this already but a paper bag and an iron works GREAT!
