New to the area and looking for a doctor for my family (husband, myself, and our 1 year old daughter). Can anyone recommend a good doctor? My family just relocated from Maryland. I got out of the military in July and we moved to TX to be closer to family. We are spoiled when it comes to benefits (military takes care of all that) so we don't know the first thing about finding a medical provider. Our daughters 1 year birthday is on the 7th and she needs to have her 1 year appointment so we need to find a provider soon. Any suggestions would be great. We live near W. Little York and N. I don't have a family practitioner but I do have a WONDERFUL pediatrician. Her name is Dr. Viona Vohra. She is further north than were you are. Her office is off of 1960 and Red Oak. If you want more info let me know and i'll give it to you.

Hi...I would recommend Dr. David Hoefer..he's at Hwy 6 North & I think it's either West Rd. or Logenbaugh..He's a GP, but has other doctors in his group. We have used him since he started his practice, gosh, probably about 8 or 9 years ago..His number is ###-###-####..hope this helps..:)
I don't know of anyone in your exact area persay but, I do know that if you're looking for a good pediatrician you should look into anyone with Texas Children's. I take my kids to Town and Country Pediatrics associates which is affilliated with Texas Children's. They are located at Memorial City Hospital (beltway8 and I10) I know they have other offices as well in other areas. Just look them up. http://www.texaschildrenspediatrics.org/
As far as Family doctors, well they are hard to come by here in this city. Good luck on your search!!!
