We bought one a few years ago from a former college student who was through with it on EBAY. It was less than $100 dollars. It had scrathes on but we didn't care. Good Luck!

You may want to try PJ's campus book store located on Parker near Ave K. They have them new and used.

Hi D.,

Congratulations to your daughter graduating early. I understand about costs. I just took my daughter back to college on Monday. We spent $566 on books and she already had one book from last year that she's using. I don't know how your search has gone for the calculator, but here is what I found on Craig's List.

TI 89@$70 posted on Craig's list on 8/23. You can reach this person at Chris ###-###-####. his cost is $70 obo.
TI 89@$65 posted on Craig's list on 8/22. Their e-mail address is as follows. ____@____.com

There are a lot of TI 84s and 83s for sale ranging from $50 to $85.

Good luck!

Go to e-bay and see if you can find one on-line. Or just goggle TI-89 - and see if something comes up. I'm sure you'll be able to find one on-line.

I bought my son a used one on EBAY for $50.00 but it did not include the accessories. However there were some that did. It was in great shape and came in three days. Some friends did the same thing for their son and also had no problems. Good Luck!

I get all of my supplies like that items at Staples. You might try Best Buy. I am not familiar with that specific type of calculator.

Check online sources such as Ebay, Craigslist and sites that sell calculators.

Good luck.

Have you looked on Craigslist? Also, sometimes they sell them used at the bookstores on campus. Hope your daughter has a wonderful 1st year!

I don't have a calculator for you, but I have a couple of suggestions of how you can put the word out. Try searching on craigslist.org. There is also a web group called FreeCycle (freecycle.org). You sign up with your local group (there is one for McKinney) and then can post for items you want, items you want to give away, etc. The idea is to keep items out of our landfills by finding folks who may be able to use items we would otherwise discard. Good luck!
