Does anyone know of a really good butcher shop for steaks near woodridge, downers, naperville, etc? Thanks!
Casey's in Western Springs is terrific! Very old school- I have gotten all kinds of meat from them. They always have a nice selection of steaks and I've special ordered leg of lamb from them as well. Super polite- a real 'neighborhood' butcher.
Wheaton Meat Co. in Wheaton is great. We love their london broil, pork chops, roasts etc. Great service with a smile.
There is a Casey's in Naperville also. They have the BEST meat selection. We have never in 7 years had a bad cut or meat we didn't like. They are at Gartner and Washington about a mile north of 75th street.
I second Casey's! They are wonderful. I'm a vegetarian and they always trim the meat for me so I don't have too.
