Trail mix is always good. You can make your own however you want or you can buy it already made. Also, how about dried fruit or beef jerky? Happy camping!
Hey Moms!!! I am going camping this weekend and am getting my list ready to do a little food shopping. The only problem is that i am having a hard time thinking of some good snacks to bring. Yeah yeah, i know the usual, chips, pretzels ect.... The only problem with those is that they leave us feeling "ugh" afterwards. I was hoping to find some other maybe a little healthy and easy to take with us. If you know of any please let me know!!!

OK, I know someone said trail mix and I 2nd that! I make a bunch up and just keep it around the house. I do:
1 big box of raisins
2 cans of salted (not smoked) almonds
1 big bag of plain m&m's
The sweet and salty are great!!!
Granola bars...fruit newton cookies...apples...whole grain wheat thins...juice boxes
Camping sounds like so much fun! Have a great time!
We take fruit snacks and granola bars or cereal bars. Great for in between meals.
Don't forget S'mores.
