As a former fan of the bread maker, I have since found an even easier way to make bread. Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day--thought I would share: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFJZPm-_2-M
My sister just gave me her bread maker since she doesn't it use it much anymore. Anyone want to share their favorite recipe?

Krusteaz Italian herb.
It's in most grocery stores -- and relatively inexpensive :-) It always gets complimented when I take it to potlucks, parties, etc.
Love my breadmaker. I hope you have a lot of fun with yours!
Honestly, my favorite bread is from Walmart. It's on the baking isle close to the Shake-N-Bake and flour, corn meal. I like the Wheat Berry Bread and then my favorite is the Hawaiian Bread.
I wish I could remember the brand but I don't have any right now.
We also get the same brand at Sam's Club in bulk packages it has Italian bread, Hawaiian bread, Wheat Berry bread, Sour Dough bread, several other kinds in one box. All you add is the water. The yeast comes with the box's.
Otherwise the only information you need is to know what size bread bucket the machine has. If its a bigger loaf or smaller loaf. I have several cookbooks just for bread-makers and each one shows the quantity for both sizes machine.
Here is a site especially for bread machine bread making and has lots of recipes. I have never actually cooked my bread in the machine. I always make rolls or bread-sticks in a pan in the oven.
