My daughter was bite by something Thursday. I picked her up from Daycare and she had a red mark on her arm about the size of a 50 cent piece with a white dot in the center. By Friday 5pm when I picked her up the center had become a big hard clear bubble about the size of a kellogs wheat puff. I took her to the prescription counter at target to ask the pharmacist if it looked like a spider or mosquito bite and he said it looked like a wart. I am ruling wart out because the way it looked when it started. I ended up poking it lightly with a needle to drain and using neosporin and a bandaid. This also happened last summer with a bite or two. Could she be allergic to spider's/mosquito's/bee's? Anyone else experience these boil like bites?

sorry to hear about your daughters blister/bite. My experiences with allergies is limited. However, my daughter (now 10) was out late a few years ago with her dad (I'm divorced from their father so he gets them every other weekend). He is of course, brilliant (i'm being sarcastic) and failed to put any mosquito protection on the kids. She had over 35 mosquito bites and ended up having a reaction. She had hives all over her body so her reaction was system wide, not localized in the way you describe. I brought her to urgent care since it was a Sunday, and they determined she clearly has a sensitivity to bug bites, and to watch further incidences as they (the reactions) typically get worse with each bite. My brother has an anaphylactic (sp?) reaction to bee's and has to carry an Epi-pen... so we kind of operate under the mentality that the next bite could be dangerous.
If I were you, I would bring her to the doc. Unless somebody saw something on her that could have bitten her, it could be something else entirely. It certainly could just be a bite, but if it's blistering, I am inclined to believe it might be something else. The only bite I know of that blisters is from the brown recluse... but since she's still up and walking around and seemingly fine, I am positive it wasn't that. Your doctor is your best bet here...

I would take her to the doctor. If you cannot do that, CVS now as Minute Clinics that should be able to get something started.
My daughter who has allergies to many unknowns (she has Mastocytosis- rare disease) gets this sometimes as well. It will start out like a welt and then the center will blister. DO NOT break the blister!!!!! I thought I should until the Dermatologist told me that it is there to protect the area from infection. Of course my daughter is also allergic to Neosporin on top of it! She gets this from Mosquitto bites and we actually carry an Epi-Pen Jr for just in case for Bee stings and even something as simple as a mosquitto bite since she is subject to anaphylaxis. I would talk to her Pediatrician if this happens often... also make sure you watch for other symptoms of allergies- like wheezing, swelling of the lips and eyes, difficulty breathing and talking etc since those can be signs of a severe reaction and require immediate medical attention.
Also, if you are out after dusk or early in the morning make sure your daughter is using a bug repellant with DEET in it. I personally do not care for it but it is better than the alternative! I just had another Mamasource Mom tell me how she put it on her daughters clothing before getting dressed... great idea and then just spot it on the exposed areas!
