Where can I find black out shades for my daughter's room? I just have one standard window I need to cover.

What can I do next?

Hi M.,

I've heard many people say they've had good luck at Penney's for those shades. I've seent them at Walmart, too.

I bought mine at Lowe's. You should still measure your window to make sure you buy the right size, as there really are no "standard" window sizes (I worked in a custom order decorating shop years ago). Also, if you want to mount it inside the window frame, they can cut it down to fit. But, IMHO, they work better outside the window frame as they cover better - there is still a small amount of light that comes around the edges, but less than with the inside mount.
