Birthday Party Ideas for Teen Girl

My daughter is turning 15 in June and I would like to do something a little different. We have already done the swimming party, slumber party, movie and shopping party in the past few years but I would like some suggestions that would be fun for teens but also a little different. We were planning to go ice skating but have decided to save that for her 16th birthday party due to the number of friends that she wants to invite and the cost associated with it. Any suggestions and ideas you have would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

What can I do next?

How about a SPA party. They could even were pajamas and
make it a SPAjama party. I have doen this for a couple of other moms and daughters and the girls had a blast. I come and pamper the girls with a spa retreat. The moms can be
invited and make it a mother-daughter spa party.
There is not a charge for the party. What we did with the
others is just buy treats bags for the guest.

My husband had a business client that had a beach house. We asked if we could use the house for the weekend or at least 1 full day and part of another. My daughter picked 5 girls and invited them down.(They spent the night) For the party itself boys met us out there, but they were either picked up by parents or driven home by my husband later that day.(if the parent never came) We had a cook out, the kids had the beach and in the morning I made pancakes for the girls and family. It was a lot of fun and my daughter and her friends still remember it.

Do her friends like jewelry-does your daught like jewelry? Necklaces-earrings-bracelets-if they do have a beading party.
You can go to most flea markets and gather beads CHEAP! Don't forget to offer a lower price-I have learned most vendors will reduce the cost if you are POLITE! They will not only be having fun doing this-they will be LEARNING something. If you don't know how to bead-contact one of the beading stores around you and perhaps they could help you out or even come to the party to help or some places are even willing to have the party in there stores!

My daughter will be 14 this summer and we are planning a Bunco party. It's a fun dice game where you need 12 girls and three tables separated. The girls randomly start at different tables and after each round, the winners move and the losers stay where they are. The next round, you have to switch partners. It's a great way for each girl to get to know each other as they move around. The game lasts a couple of hours if you break every full round for snacks, dancing, etc. Play the music loud, put out a bunch of food and let them play. Afterwards, there is a set way to award prizes for the most bunco's, most wins, most losses, etc. They can also play a dice game called LCR, it's a center, left, right game. give each girl three tokens, they take turns throwing the dice and if they get a c, their token goes in the center, r to the right, l, to the left an a dot means it stays. This game only takes about 10 minutes but is very heated and fun. Have a prize, like a $10 gift card to Dots or the movies for the winner. Perfect for an evening of fun. Plus since it takes 11 guests to play, your daughter will get tons of gifts and get to invite all of her friends. I would invite at least 16 girls, then if some don't show up, you can still have enough. If less come, you can always use a "ghost" to play with.

Teenagers are awesome! I hope that you relish your teens.
How about a manicure/pedicure party? Have an assortment of colors,(nice colors/wild and wacky colors)and all the stuff that goes with manicures, pedicures. See if you can find a friend who knows how to do it and make her your "professional."

Hi M.. I dont know if your daughter likes to dance. For my nieces 15 birthday we had her a dance party. We had some dance contest for them that made it a little more interesting. The kids had a blast. Another idea would be a hawian luau. Good luck with your party.

Embassy Suites on Baymeadows has birthday rooms. These are on the bottom floor near the pool which is indoor and you can have up to like 6 people or so in the room. You spend the night there and you can bring in your own food and then have breakfast the next morning. The kids love it, the space is just for birthday parties so it doesn't disturb other guests and they can watch tv, movies, eat popcorn, do all sorts of things. The cost is reasonable and it really is alot of fun.

Another thing we've done is have lunch for everyone then gone to see a movie and then back for cake and games. I know you've done it before but it is fun. Cosmic bowling is also alot of fun too.

Hope these help!

For that age, I would recommend a Spa party with Butterfly Dreams parties and that would be a fun party for her and her friends, something different. They come to your house with everything, they include robes, headbands and then they offer pedicure, manicures, masks etc then they do a nice craft for them to take home. Look them up on mamasource under Local Business reviews then under Events and then click birthday parties and you will see lots of great reviews or look them up on www.ButterflyDreamsParty.com

You can check with your local bowling alley, they usually have rooms (big) you can use (or reserve a part of the bowling alley for a function), they give you food, and let you bowl a few games for one price. You can invite both boys and girls. Then when the boys get picked up, you and the girls can rent movies, and have a sleep-over at your house.

Is this a boy/girl party or just girl?

If it's girl you could do spa day. Some salons will do a group thing for a set price. Like pedicures for $15 each or manicures for $10 you'd have to call around and see what you could find. If we were in Ft. Myers I have 2 different salons that you could use, but being that I am fairly new here I don't have that connection.
They usually provide drinks and snacks.

The bowling idea is totally great for boy/girl party or all girl.

What about that shop at the Florida Mall where you can surf inside the mall. They do parties and I believe they have a flat rate for so many people.
