Hi moms out there. My daughter is going to be 4yrs. old on the 28th of this month and the theme for her party is going to be princess but I need ideas on where to have it. I don't want to have it at my house and I don't want to spend no more than $250. Does anybody have any ideas on location and prices. If the location is really nice I can probably go a little over $250. Please help!

Thanks
L.

Hello there! I just recently had a wondeful experience at a indoor kids playground called Kidz Rule. Its off of Cimarron and Warm Springs. They have birthday packages for all group sizes. Their website is Kidzrule.com A good thing about this place is the parents can play in the indoor play area also. They have tubes the kids can climb in and they keep the place VERY clean. I've taken my kids there 3 times already and they never want to leave. They also have a toddler section for parents that may have younger kids. Go check out the place and see if it will be a fit for you. Hope you enjoy!

Last year, when my daughter turned 4, we had a Hannah Montana bowling party for her. It was (almost) the simplest, least expensive birthday party that we had for either of our 2 kids. We reserved 2 lanes at the Southpoint Casino bowling alley for a Monday (my daughter's actual birthday) during the late afternoon/early evening, and paid for 2 games and shoe rentals for each of the kids, and pizza and drink tickets from the concession stand. We also brought in cake, helium balloons and favor bags, and that was pretty much the extent of it. The kids had a blast running around, there was very minimal clean up afterward and by the time they got home, we had no problem getting them to bed.

Hi L.,
I just booked at a Summerlin park, but changed it for a pony party, but you can rent out the rec centers for a couple hundred dollars. Here is the site to Henderson parks. http://www.cityofhenderson.com/parks/pdf/brochures/curren...

Most other venues will be very expensive. You can decorate to make the princess party your daughter dreams of.

I used Steve-n-Kids for years, usually having our themed character come to the house (Elmo, Dora). However, when we opted for a Princess party we chose to do it at his location. We had boys and girls at the party, so it was a Prince & Princess party. Steve was a Prince and his helper was a Sleepy Beauty Princess, I believe. Steve always does a great job entertaining the kids and keeping the party moving. Although a bit of a drive from Henderson, (he is just off the 95 at Decatur) it's something to consider. Here is his link http://steve-n-kids.com/. Or just have the party at a park and have his characters come to you. ;o)
