I was on the depo shot for a while, and am having a lot of trouble. So I switched to the neuva ring and I like it. I so have a few questions. I have some cramping, and I didn't know if that's normal or does it go away? Also, the doctor said you can take it out during inercourse, is that really true. Thanks any thoughts are great.

I didn't have any cramping with it but I know you can take it out for up to three hours to have sex. So no worries there!

Go to the Nuvaring website:

http://www.nuvaring.com/Consumer/index.asp

They will provide you all the info that you need. You can take it out before sex. But it is only necessary if it bothers you or your husband.

I was on the Nuva Ring for a while (my insurance won't cover it now) I thought it was great. My cramping went away after one month. I never heard of taking it out during intercourse. I didn't...and I didn't notice nor my husband.

I have been on nuvaring for about a year and a half.. Every month when I put a new one in I have a little bit of breast tenderness or nausea but it goes away within a day or so. As far as intercourse, it doesn't bother us. My husband actually likes it...does something extra for him. :) LOL! Hope this helps...
