We actually got our announcements from a Halmark store in Skokie( skokie blvd and church) they have printed announcements as well as print your own. our announcements were under 100 dollars for 150 of them. On top of it if you are a hallmark gold crown member you get points too. We also have used Costco they have announcements too - they are 15.99 for 50 and 5.99 for each 25 after that. Good Luck

Hi J.,

We ordered our announcements from Walgreens.com. You upload a photo, pick a card, and update the information. The whole process took about 30 minutes and was only about $50 for 80 announcements, envelopes, and shipping to the house.

Hope that helps!

J.,

Try P.J.'s Greetings. You can find them on the web. I order my special business materials from them.

Hi J.,

I actually did my own using Microsoft Publisher and postcard stock fron Office Depot - there are envelopes to match the size. I dressed them up by using stamps and an embosser i had already purchased for our wedding, and envelope seals made it a bit more fancy. I included a wallet size picture of my son in the announcement. I also used walgreens to print up photo announcements for my last, using their website. they were ready the next day. I saved time by printing labels for my recipients...(normally I would always take the time to hand write... sometimes labels can be impersonal and tacky, but I figured I had earned the time saver... 4 kids, and two under 2...)

good luck :)

Hi ~

You can always buy a Hallmark or American Greetings program and make your own. That's what I did ~ I just bought card stock from Staples and the envelopes to fit!

Good Luck!

Yet another big fan of tiny prints, as well! Another options is invitingsmiles.com. You can find cards for as little as 99 cents a piece and they are really cute!! i

There are so many cute online places to get birth announcements...but man can they get pricey!! I found that Snapfish and Shutterfly had good prices. Shutterfly.com had cuter announcements though. Good luck and congratulations!!

P.S. Also, my neighbor does Stampin' Up and there is seriously THE cutest announcements ever and you can make them all different. And it can be as inexpensive as you want. Here is her info so you can see what I mean.

Hi J.:

I am a paper and stationery junkie.:-) Here are two of my favorites.

Tiny Prints www.tinyprints.com has the most adorable birth announcements. The prices vary based on the quantity, but I have ordered from them several times and I have been thrilled with the product.

Another great, and inexpensive, option is www.zazzle.com. I have sent postcards from them on occasion. Their service allows you to upload your photo, add a border, text etc. Plus, you can't beat the price at less than a dollar per postcard! (Not to mention, I was thrilled with the product!)

Congrats on your son!
