go for lunch at a sidewalk cafe!! enjoy the chit chat and being outside!!
My bff and I are leaving the kiddos with dad and having a long awaited girl's afternoon... only problem is we don't know what to do! Anyone have any ideas besides manicures and movies? It is supposed to be 70 degrees and sunny tomorrow so we would like to do something outside... tia!

I agree with Kelli B.
We had a particularly memorable girls' day out one time at a beautiful estate/garden (Filoli Gardens in Palo Alto, if you want to look it up) - I bet there's somewhere comparable in Southern CA! It was so beautiful - tulips blooming everywhere, manicured gardens that we enjoyed sans kids... aaah, paradise! :)
A hike, pack some munchies for the trail then lunch @ an outdoor cafe.
Wine tasting if you drink
I googled things to do in Corona CA- it said live music by the lake at Tom's Farm? I have no idea what that is but maybe you could look into
that?
Golf lessons?
Batting cages? (fun to be outside)
Do you have any outdoor malls?
Have fun!
On a nice day my bff and I like to eat lunch outside (taking our sweet time of course) and then go for a walk. Last time we just left the restaurant and walked through a neatly kept nearby neighborhood, up and down the pretty streets as we talked.
Next month I'll be in SoCal where she lives and we plan to spend one day at the Getty. They have a cafe for lunch if I remember, galleries and nice gardens. We will probably end up looking around a little but mostly talking as we go.
Other things we've done together: Disneyland, Legoland (my boys go on rides together and we keep eachother company and you know, talk; or we go to the beach for the day; shopping but again we talk more than we shop.....
